Our tradition of Northern Italian cooking had its beginnings in the mountainous region of Emilia-Romagna, near the city of Modena in Italy. In 1977 the tradition was rekindled with the opening of the PASTIFICIO! store in Highwood, Illinois. Careful attention is given to capture the original flavors of the pastas and meats identified with this style of cooking.
